NOTE FROM THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
In my final message as the Executive Director of American Friends of ALYN Hospital, I want to highlight the significance of Shavuot and the teachings of the Torah. These principles guide us in showing compassion and care, especially to those who are most vulnerable. Reflecting on the resilience of ALYN Hospital's staff after the October 7, 2023 crisis, I am in awe of their unwavering dedication to children with complex medical needs. The support we receive from our community, even from afar, truly exemplifies the Torah's values of shared responsibility and the inherent worth of every human life. ALYN Hospital is more than just a medical facility; it is a living embodiment of these values, nurturing a holistic approach to care. I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to serve and look forward to continued growth and recognition for ALYN's mission. I hope to inspire broader support for the children who need it most.

American Friends of ALYN Hospital is really stepping up our social media game on platforms like Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and now TikTok. We want to share patient stories and show how important pediatric rehabilitation is. Social media helps us spread the word about ALYN's awesome work, connect with new folks, and keep in touch with our current supporters. Our new video series featuring hospital innovations has been getting great feedback, and we can't wait to share more with you!
MEMORIAL FOR DR. RONEN BEERI
American Friends of ALYN Hospital joins with the entire ALYN community as we mourn the passing of Professor Ronen Beeri z”l, husband of ALYN Hospital Director General Dr. Maurit Beeri. A highly respected cardiologist, researcher, and educator, Professor Beeri devoted his life to advancing medicine, caring for patients, and mentoring future generations of healthcare professionals.
Known for his humility, compassion, and extraordinary dedication, he became one of Israel’s leading voices in cardiac imaging and a widely recognized figure in the international medical community. His contributions to the field of cardiology, as well as the countless lives he touched throughout his career, leave behind an enduring legacy.
We extend our deepest condolences to Dr. Beeri and the entire family during this difficult time.
May his memory be a blessing.
