As Passover approaches, we are invited to imagine ourselves experiencing the Exodus. This journey parallels the story of children at ALYN Hospital, Israel's only pediatric rehabilitation center, who face complex physical challenges. These children, transformed through treatment, take significant steps towards independence, such as breathing without machines or speaking after silence. American Friends of ALYN Hospital bridges the gap by funding vital therapies and equipment through donations, enabling these miracles. As you celebrate Passover, may you find joy in knowing your support aids children in their journey toward freedom.
STAND STRONG FOR ISRAEL'S MOST VULNERABLE
ALYN Hospital remains committed to delivering care despite war and destruction. A video narrated by Dr. Maurit Beeri showcases the hospital's swift response to an emergency, where staff coordinated to safely transfer ventilated children to a protected area, funded by generous donors.
Rehabilitation continues even during crises, with children actively participating in their recovery. Your support is crucial for protecting and empowering Israel's vulnerable children during these challenging times.
ARCHERS TRAINING WITH ALYN HOSPITAL
The Israeli archery team arrived at the "ALYN" Children and Youth Rehabilitation Hospital in Jerusalem and held a joint training session with the archery group of children treated there. Among the team's athletes were the new European champion in the mixed doubles competition, Michaela Moshe (Maccabi Tel Aviv), the 2024 European champion and Israeli record holder, Shamai Yamarom (Maccabi Archers First), and archer Yehuda Cohen (Maccabi Archers Jerusalem).
