LOOKING BACK WITH PRIDE, LOOKING AHEAD WITH PURPOSE
As we approach the close of 2025 and look ahead to 2026, I find myself reflecting on just how much we have accomplished together—and feeling deeply grateful for the community that made it all possible.
This past year has been one of meaningful growth, connection, and impact for American Friends of ALYN Hospital. At the heart of it all has been our shared commitment to ensuring that the children of ALYN continue to receive the world-class, compassionate care they deserve.
AMRI GOES HOME
After months of rehabilitation at ALYN Hospital, Amri returned home to his family, strengthened by the collective efforts of a dedicated multidisciplinary team. Doctors, therapists, nurses, teachers, and support staff worked together to address every aspect of his recovery—movement, learning, confidence, and independence.
His parents’ letter offers a window into the extraordinary care that defines ALYN: a place where healing is never the work of one individual, but the result of coordinated expertise and compassion, made possible through the ongoing support of those who believe in ALYN’s mission.
HEELS OF LOVE '26
The 8th annual ALYN Heels of Love trek is set for March 10–12, 2026—a three-day hiking and camping adventure supporting the children of ALYN Hospital. This year’s route leads us through the extraordinary Timna Park region, with its dramatic cliffs, hidden canyons, and unforgettable desert skies.
It will be an adventure you will remember for years to come. The breathtaking views, knowledgeable tour guides, and engaging discussions with fellow hikers create a sense of unity around a cause that resonates deeply with all of us — ALYN Hospital. Join us for an experience that challenges, inspires, and makes a real impact.
