DIRECTOR'S NOTE

LOOKING BACK WITH PRIDE, LOOKING AHEAD WITH PURPOSE

 As we approach the close of 2025 and look ahead to 2026, I find myself reflecting on just how much we have accomplished together—and feeling deeply grateful for the community that made it all possible.

This past year has been one of meaningful growth, connection, and impact for American Friends of ALYN Hospital. At the heart of it all has been our shared commitment to ensuring that the children of ALYN continue to receive the world-class, compassionate care they deserve.

One of the highlights of the year was, once again, our strong participation in the annual Wheels of Love Bike Ride in Israel. Wheels of Love is more than a ride—it is a powerful expression of solidarity, determination, and love for ALYN and its children. Seeing riders come together from around the world to support the hospital remains one of the most inspiring reminders of what this community can accomplish.

Throughout the year, we were also proud to engage nearly 1,500 young professionals, who came together at events across multiple cities and venues. These gatherings did more than build community—they strengthened the next generation of ALYN supporters and ambassadors, helping ensure a vibrant future for our mission.


We also took important steps toward expanding our grassroots engagement through the launch of local community events, beginning with our first Challah Bake in Aventura, Florida. This was an exciting milestone and a model we look forward to replicating in additional communities.


Equally meaningful were the many in-person meetings with donors around the country. There is no substitute for sitting together, listening, sharing stories, and expressing gratitude face-to-face. These conversations reinforce the partnership at the core of our work and remind us how personally invested so many of you are in ALYN’s success.


And behind the scenes, we were thrilled to launch our newly updated website, giving us a stronger platform to share ALYN’s story, highlight its extraordinary work, and connect more effectively with supporters everywhere.

As proud as we are of what we’ve accomplished, we are just as energized by what lies ahead.


In the coming year, we plan to increase the number of community-based events, continue reaching out to donors across the country, and find new and creative ways to share the incredible work being done every day at ALYN Hospital. We look forward to expanding our participation in both Heels of Love (March 10-12, 2026) and Wheels of Love (November 8–12, 2026), both of which are already generating excitement and momentum.


None of this—past or future—would be possible without you. Your generosity and belief in ALYN are the foundation upon which everything is built.
