Each year, as we move through the days of the Omer—that sacred stretch of time between the liberation of Passover and the revelation of Shavuot—I find myself reflecting on what it truly means to be free. The Israelites wandered through the desert not simply to reach a destination, but to be transformed. To become a people capable of receiving the Torah. To learn, in the most profound way, what it means to care for one another.
HELP US GROW
One of the best ways to grow support for ALYN is by introducing our mission to new people in different settings. That can mean hosting a small parlor gathering to invite friends to learn more about the hospital’s work or finding creative ways to share ALYN’s impact within your own community. These more personal introductions can go a long way in helping new people connect to ALYN’s mission and understand the life-changing care the hospital provides to children with physical disabilities.
MAKING COMMUNITY CONNECTIONS
Join us in strengthening the community while supporting American Friends of ALYN Hospital with events that educate, inspire, and draw people closer to a vital cause. We aim to expand this impact with innovative ideas and collaborations, nurturing a dedicated community that supports ALYN Hospital’s children and families every day.
WHEELS OF LOVE '26: Information Zoom Session
Are you curious about Wheels of Love or eager to help introduce this remarkable ride and the incredible work of ALYN Hospital? Join us for an enlightening and informative session on April 19th at noon ET, 11 AM CT, and 9 AM PT via Zoom. Whether you're new to Wheels of Love or a veteran rider, this is your opportunity to hear from ALYN Hospital representatives. This is also an opportunity to hear about the incredible work the hospital leadership and staff have been doing to continue providing the necessary services even amid the war.

Are you looking for another way to donate? Mailing a check is not always the most convenient option. Luckily, there are other to donate ALYN Hospital.
Every dollar counts, no matter what method you use to donate. If you are looking for a new way, consider using a Donor-Advised Fund (DAF), or enhance your contribution with a matching gift from your employer.

To help keep everyone updated on what is happening at AFAH and ALYN, we have created a WhatsApp community that will help streamline our efforts to communicate with you.
For those who don’t know, a WhatsApp community is a group that contains several smaller group chats. Our WhatsApp community includes a general announcements group with updates and a monthly newsletter.
