Beyond the Body
In June, my oldest son graduated from middle school, excited about the summer ahead and the prospect of starting high school in the fall. He had a full schedule planned: skateboarding camp in the mornings, high school soccer conditioning in the afternoons, and Tae Kwon Do one evening a week. It was going to be a summer filled with friends, activities, and preparation for an exciting new chapter.
ANDREW RUNS FOR ALYN

Meet Andrew, an attorney from Sharon, Massachusetts, running his third NYC Marathon and seventeenth overall. He began running in his mid-thirties, completing his first marathon at 46, finding fulfillment in training and fundraising for medical research. Andrew has finished all World Marathon Majors, becoming a “Six Star Finisher” in Tokyo in 2024. His emotional experience at the Berlin Marathon included a memorial for Jewish Holocaust victims. Deeply connected to ALYN’s mission of supporting children with disabilities, Andrew's family background in healthcare and personal ties to medical challenges inspire him to run for institutions like ALYN. He eagerly anticipates the vibrant crowd and iconic finish in Central Park.

Why Jeremy Merrin Rides for ALYN

Jeremy Merrin may call Great Barrington, MA, home, but lately, he can be found doing loops around Central Park, preparing for ALYN Hospital’s annual Wheels of Love ride in Israel.
For Jeremy, the reason to ride is simple. It starts with the children of ALYN Hospital—and a place he believes everyone should experience for themselves.
“The hospital is the most amazing place,” Jeremy said. “Whether you ride or not, take a tour of the hospital next time you’re in Israel.”

MORE WAYS TO GIVE
Are you searching for an alternative method to make a donation? Mailing checks may not always be the most convenient choice. Fortunately, there are various ways to support ALYN Hospital.
- Every dollar makes a difference, regardless of the donation method you choose.
- If you're seeking a new approach, consider using a Donor-Advised Fund (DAF).
- You can also amplify your contribution through a matching gift from your employer.
