We’re proud to share highlights from RehabWeek 2025, one of the world’s foremost conferences in the field of rehabilitation, where ALYN Hospital was prominently represented on the global stage.

Dr. Naomi Gefen, ALYN’s Deputy Director General for Allied Health Clinical Services and Principal Investigator of the Research Domain in Technology for Rehabilitation and Independent Function at the ALYN PARC Helmsley Pediatric & Adolescent Rehabilitation Research Center, led a powerful workshop alongside leading experts in the field.

Her session focused on two exciting advancements:

Groundbreaking simulators designed for powered wheelchair training can transform how children learn to navigate their world with greater independence.

A promising research project by PhD candidate Shoshana Steinhart, introducing a novel tool that evaluates children’s functional abilities through simple home videos recorded by parents, offering a more accessible and family-centered approach to care.

We’re honored to have ALYN’s pioneering work showcased at such a prestigious international forum and thrilled to continue shaping the future of pediatric rehabilitation, together..
