ACTIVITES FOR ALL AGES

Activities for All Ages Bringing Us Closer to ALYN

At American Friends of ALYN Hospital, connection and creativity bring our community closer to the children and families who rely on ALYN—Israel’s only pediatric rehabilitation center. From painting to baking to hands-on crafts, every gathering becomes a bridge of care and support.

Riverdale Bookmark Decorating: Thank You!

On September 7, families and friends in Riverdale came together for a fun bookmark-decorating pop-up—proof that small, creative moments can carry big meaning. Each bookmark became a message of encouragement for child at ALYN Hospital, reminding them that no matter where, what, or how, people across the world are cheering them on in their journey towards independence.

Paint & Sip Is Back

On October 9, friends and supporters of ALYN Hospital gathered for a lively Paint & Sip Night at our New York office. The evening offered a warm, creative space to unwind, connect, and give back. We provided the paints and canvas; guests brought their favorite drinks, creativity, and generosity. Together, participants created personalized paintings to brighten the days and hospital rooms of children undergoing rehabilitation at ALYN Hospital.

Miami Challah Bake: Bringing Light to ALYN’s Children

As we approach Chanukah, the festival of lights, we’re inviting the Miami community to join us for an evening that celebrates both tradition and giving. Our Challah Bake isn’t just about braiding dough—it’s about weaving together compassion, community, and hope.

Each challah represents the light we can bring into the lives of ALYN’s children—children who, every day, show extraordinary strength and resilience as they work toward greater independence. By coming together as a community, we add our own

sparks of light to theirs. REGISTER NOW

When & where: Thursday, December 18, 7:00 pm at Beit David Synagogue, 2600 NE 209th St., Miami, FL 33180

All proceeds benefit American Friends of ALYN Hospital, supporting life-changing pediatric rehabilitation in Israel.

We invite everyone—families, friends, and new supporters—to take part in this warm and meaningful celebration. It’s a chance to gather before the lights of Chanukah, reflect on what it means to bring healing and joy, and send that light across the ocean to Jerusalem.
